Note:

I've sized this so that it can be used for widescreen or non-widescreen wallpapers. You may use them for any non-commercial purpose.

I know that Granado Espada holds art contests, so you may use this as a reference but please... please don't claim it as your own work. This is the first time that I worked on a background for something that I'm uploading on DA (actually, ever), so I would be devastated if someone claimed this as their own work, most especially if they used it for their own gain (to win art contests, etc.).

Nice one! And you were using mouse to paint this? Awesome.
Btw, have you considered using drawing pen instead of gel?
It's more accurate and can dry so quickly.

I use gelpen because I also use it for work. I draw with ballpens or gelpens now (writing + drawing, yea!) because I doodle during breaks... pencils don't feel natural anymore >_<

My first time to paint, that tutorial really helped. I did use a mouse to paint this. I'm not comfortable with tablets/stylus, maybe I just need to find one that'll fit nicely on my computer table and in my tiny hands.

Yea working space should be considered. I use the smallest wacom bamboo, it's great. Haha, I use snowman's drawing pen for almost anything, I like the black and it's not too expensive. If you're comfortable painting with mouse, maybe try some vexel?
